Shin Youngwoo logs into Satisfy, a virtual reality game, and gets a legendary hidden class: Overgeared, a blacksmith whose items can remake the game's economy and politics. But Youngwoo isn't a typical hero. He starts as a selfish, petty player who hoards resources and avoids risk. The web novel, written by Saenal and serialized on KakaoPage from November 2014 to April 2024, runs over 2,000 chapters. It blends LitRPG mechanics, detailed crafting, stats, and class systems, with a slow character arc. Youngwoo forges weapons, builds alliances, and faces moral choices that push him toward responsibility. The series helped popularize the crafting-focused LitRPG subgenre in Korean web novels.

A manhwa adaptation, drawn by Team Argo and adapted by Monohumbug, began on KakaoPage in April 2020. An anime by J.C.Staff is set for October 2026. No official English translation exists, but fan translations circulate. The novel has not won literary awards but ranks #809 overall and #32 in its category on tracking platforms, with a popularity score of 37.46 as of July 2025.[edit]
