One Last Time

"One Last Time" is a dance-pop and EDM track from Ariana Grande's second studio album My Everything, released in 2014. The song was written by a team that included David Guetta, Savan Kotecha, Giorgio Tuinfort, Rami Yacoub, and Carl Falk, with production handled by Carl Falk and Rami Yacoub alongside co-producer Giorgio Tuinfort and vocal producer Ilya Salmanzadeh. It was recorded at Conway Recording Studios in Los Angeles and Kinglet Studios in Stockholm. Initially released as a promotional single on August 22, 2014, it later became the fifth official single from the album on February 10, 2015, via Republic Records.

The glossy, pulsing production and Grande's emotive vocal delivery create a wistful plea for one final moment of closeness, fitting the mid-2010s trend of festival-ready pop. The song charted moderately upon release but gained renewed momentum after the Manchester Arena bombing in May 2017. Grande had performed it at that concert, and fans adopted it as a symbol of solidarity, pushing it to number two on the UK Singles Chart and number one on the UK iTunes Chart. It earned platinum certifications in several countries.

The official music video, directed by Max Landis and released on February 15, 2015, uses a found-footage style to depict Grande and her love interest navigating an apocalyptic city as a comet approaches. The video faced controversy when Australian band SAFIA accused Grande and Landis of copying their video for "You Are the One"; Landis denied the claim. Additionally, songwriter Alex Greggs sued, alleging the chorus was lifted from his song "Takes All Night."
