Oh Yeah?

Steve Lacy released his third studio album, Oh Yeah?, on July 17, 2026, through RCA Records. The project arrived four years after Gemini Rights and carries a specific sonic mandate from the artist: "a record for guitar kids who love synths and synth kids who love guitars." This hybrid approach merges alternative rock, breakbeat, alternative R&B, soul, trip hop, and psychedelic music into a single cohesive body of work.

The album spans ten tracks and runs approximately 35 minutes. Its lyrical content oscillates between juvenile humor and serious introspection, addressing themes like existentialism, hedonism, and the psychological impact of early fame. Guest vocalists SZA, Erykah Badu, and Cecile Believe appear across the tracklist to add texture to the electronic soundscapes.

Production duties were handled by Lacy alongside Marius de Vries, Matt Martians, Michael Uzowuru, Nicholas Weiss, and Karl Wingate, with Matthew Castellanos serving as executive producer. The promotional campaign featured an exclusive TikTok in-app experience and secured placement for one of the album's songs in the 2026 Marvel film Spider-Man: Brand New Day. [edit]
