Off Campus follows music major Hannah Wells and hockey captain Garrett Graham at the fictional Briar University. What starts as a mutually beneficial fake relationship quickly grows complicated when real emotions emerge. When Garrett fails a tough midterm, his spot on the team hangs in the balance. He refuses any backroom fixes and insists on earning the passing grade himself.

The two meet when Garrett learns Hannah aced the same exam. She stands out as one of the few students who could tutor him effectively. Hannah wants nothing to do with the cocky athlete at first. Both face high stakes though. Garrett needs to pass to keep playing. Hannah needs stability to protect her scholarship and sees a chance to gain some leverage. They make a deal. She will tutor him.
