Nutan

Nutan's five Filmfare Best Actress wins stood as a record for decades, and she remains a benchmark for naturalistic acting in Hindi cinema. Her ability to play conflicted, unconventional women set her apart from her contemporaries. She is frequently cited in retrospectives as one of the greatest actresses in Indian film history. Her niece Kajol later matched her record, a rare family achievement. Nutan's work continues to be screened and studied, and her influence on later actresses is widely acknowledged.
