Northrop Grumman Corporation, headquartered in West Falls Church, Virginia, is a global aerospace and defense technology company formed in 1994 through the merger of Northrop Corporation and Grumman Aerospace. It ranks as the fifth-largest U.S. federal contractor, capturing over 2% of all government contract spending, and sits at number 110 on the Fortune 500. In 2024, 87% of its $38.7 billion in revenue came from U.S. government work, with 12% from international clients. The company and its partners have won the Collier Trophy nine times, most recently for developing and producing the James Webb Space Telescope, which launched in 2021.

Northrop Grumman operates through four core sectors. Aeronautics Systems produces the B-21 Raider stealth bomber, the E-2D Hawkeye, and components for the F/A-18 Hornet.
