Niles Neumann

Niles Neumann is an American youth basketball prospect and Instagram creator from Houston, Texas. Born June 21, 2011, he is the youngest of the Neumann brothers and has built a large following by posting basketball highlights, drills, and lifestyle content on his Instagram account @dat.kid_niles, which has grown to over 470,000 followers. On the court, he is a Class of 2030 point guard, ranked as high as number 6 nationally by Top 25 Scouts, and plays club ball for JL3 Elite EYBL. Off the court, he is known for his energetic, basketball-focused content and close family ties, often appearing in videos with his older brothers Nelson and Noah. [edit]

Niles grew up in Houston, Texas, in a household where basketball was central. His older brothers, Nelson and Noah, were already making names for themselves as basketball content creators when Niles was young, and he naturally appeared in their early videos. These appearances gave him his first taste of public attention, and fans began recognizing him as the youngest Neumann. His nanny, Paige Whitson, was also his preschool teacher, a detail that underscores the close-knit, long-term family support around him. From a young age, Niles showed a passion for basketball, spending hours practicing drills and playing pickup games. He balanced school with sports and started his own Instagram account, @dat.kid_niles, where he posted his own clips. His early content focused on training sessions, game highlights, and challenges, often featuring his brothers. This combination of family exposure and his own skill quickly attracted a growing audience, setting the stage for his rise as a youth basketball influencer. [edit]

Niles's career as a basketball content creator and prospect took off as he began to establish his own identity beyond being the younger brother of Nelson and Noah. He committed to club basketball with JL3 Elite EYBL, a top youth program, and started appearing in scouting databases. His biggest early milestone came when Top 25 Scouts ranked him number 6 in the Class of 2030, a national recognition that validated his talent. On Instagram, his follower count surged past 470,000 as he posted regular basketball content, including drills, game clips, and occasional lifestyle posts. He was featured by platforms like Take My Talent, which further boosted his visibility. As of 2026, Niles continues to develop as a player, balancing competitive club ball with content creation, and remains a rising figure in youth basketball circles. [edit]

Niles is portrayed as a rising basketball phenom and a hardworking young athlete. His Instagram content is high-energy and focused on training, with a youthful aesthetic of gym shorts and performance gear. Media outlets and scouting services label him as a prodigy and a top prospect for the Class of 2030. His fans, part of the Neumann Crew, follow his development closely, sharing his clips and speculating about his future. Niles's social media voice is casual and enthusiastic, centered on basketball progress and fun challenges, and he avoids controversial topics. [edit]

Niles Neumann operates in a digital ecosystem where his audience functions less as a traditional fandom and more as a hyper-engaged family extension. While the Neumann Crew shares clips and speculates on his trajectory, there is no formal organization, dedicated subreddit, or collective ritual driving chart pushes for the Houston prospect. His followers engage through standard social metrics rather than coordinated campaigns or fan-funded projects. The iFANN Editorial Team has not yet gathered sufficient data to assign a global fame ranking for Niles Neumann as of August 2026, leaving his placement in the world's celebrity hierarchy currently undefined by our metrics. Unlike established entertainers with viral myths or legendary moments that define their cultural footprint, Niles remains a rising athletic talent whose 'lore' consists of verified scoring feats and family vlogs rather than crowd-shutting-down incidents or folklore.[edit]

His nanny, Paige Whitson, formerly served as his preschool teacher. He has been featured by Take My Talent. Niles frequently posts basketball content on his Instagram account @dat.kid_niles, which serves as the primary hub for his growing online presence. In one widely viewed video, he can be heard singing along to a track by Gracie Abrams. He often fills his free time playing NBA 2K. Beyond the screen, he dropped 232 points across eight games at the Battle of the Best tournament, a statistical feat that cemented his reputation among scouts. Another viral moment documented his performance in a YouTube video titled I DROPPED 40 POINTS PLAYING UP 2 GRADES!, showcasing his ability to dominate older competition. These athletic milestones stand alongside personal anecdotes, such as a vlog entry detailing an ER visit after consuming what was described as the most spicy food in the world.[edit]

Niles is the youngest of three Neumann brothers. His older brother Nelson Neumann, known online as Nelson the Prodigy, is a prominent basketball creator with brand deals. His other brother, Noah Neumann, also appears in family basketball content. Their parents are not publicly named, but the family is described as supportive and basketball-focused. Niles's nanny, Paige Whitson, was his former preschool teacher and remains a close part of the household. The Neumann brothers frequently feature each other in videos, and the family is known as the Neumann Crew. [edit]

This figure reflects earnings from Instagram sponsorships and brand partnerships focused on basketball training gear and apparel. Income also flows through appearance fees for events and monetization generated by short-form content platforms. As a minor athlete, specific contract values remain private, but his expanding follower count and high national scouting ranking indicate substantial future earning potential.[edit]
