Niki Lauda's achievements on the track are remarkable: three World Championships, 25 Grand Prix wins, and 54 podiums, a record at his retirement. He is the only driver to have won titles with both Ferrari and McLaren, and his 1984 championship victory by half a point remains the closest margin in F1 history. His comeback from the 1976 Nürburgring crash, returning to racing in just 42 days, is considered one of the greatest displays of courage in sports history. Beyond driving, his leadership at Mercedes helped the team dominate Formula 1 for years, and his name lives on in the Gordon Murray T.50s hypercar.
