Neymar's career is marked by historic achievements. He is the all-time top scorer for Brazil, surpassing Pelé's 52-year record of 77 goals in 2023. He holds the record as the Brazilian with the most goals (43) and assists (33) in the UEFA Champions League. He is one of only five players to score 100 goals for three different clubs. His €222 million transfer in 2017 remains the most expensive in football history. Neymar also held the record for the most assists in international football (59) from 2023 to 2025. These feats place him among the elite of the sport.
