Reid's most historic achievement is winning the NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 2024 as the first undrafted player ever to do so. That season, he set career highs in points and rebounds, proving that draft status doesn't define a player's ceiling. His All-Rookie Second Team selection in 2020 was a strong start for an undrafted rookie. In high school, he swept New Jersey's top honors, including Gatorade Player of the Year and Mr. Basketball, establishing himself as one of the state's all-time greats.
