National Treasures

The title of this track comes from a real moment. Media personality Taylor Rooks told Drake, "in the city, you're the national treasure," and he liked the phrase enough to name a song after it. The beat, handled by Boi-1da, Oz, London Cyr, Nico Baran, Patron, Ben10k, Ryan Bakalarczyk, and Wraith9, pairs eerie synths with trap drums. About halfway through, the track shifts, layering in sampled voices and industrial noise.

Drake uses the title as a metaphor for the people and relationships he values most. He also takes a shot at DeMar DeRozan, noting the Raptors legend never made the NBA Finals, contrasting him with Kawhi Leonard who won a title in his first season in Toronto. The song became a fast fan favorite. By June 24, 2026, it had passed 100 million streams on Spotify, the third track from Iceman to hit that mark.

The music video was shot at the Andrews Building on the University of Toronto's Scarborough campus and released a day before the album, on May 14, 2026. Commercially, the song peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Global 200, number 3 in Canada and Ireland, and number 4 in Australia. Billboard's Armon Sadler ranked it the third best song on Iceman.
