Natalie Hemby is a two-time Grammy winner, a rare feat for a songwriter who also performs. Her 2020 win for Best Song Written for Visual Media made her the first female songwriter to win that category for a song from a film soundtrack. Her second Grammy in 2023 for Best Country Song placed her among an elite group of songwriters with multiple wins in that category. She has also been recognized by the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association, winning Song of the Year for 'White Liar.' The Nashville Songwriters Association International named her Songwriter of the Year in 2019.
