Naoya Kusakawa

Naoya Kusakawa is a Japanese actor and dancer, best known as the rapper and dancer of the five-member dance and vocal group ONE N' ONLY. Born in Tokyo, he has built a career that spans music, stage, and screen, with a growing filmography that includes roles in High&Low: The Worst Episode.O and FAKE MOTION: Tatta Hitotsu no Negai.

As of 2026, Kusakawa continues to perform with ONE N' ONLY, whose energetic live shows and self-produced style have earned a devoted following. His warm, caring personality, often described as the "mother of the group," endears him to fans, while his sharp fashion sense and dance skills make him a standout on stage. [edit]

Growing up in Tokyo, Naoya was a soccer kid, playing the sport for eleven years before trading his cleats for stage shoes. That athletic background gave him the discipline and stamina that would later define his dance career.

His formal journey into entertainment began when he joined EBiDAN, Stardust Promotion's artist development project. On April 16, 2016, he became a member of EBiSSH, a unit within EBiDAN, where he took on the roles of dancer and leader. EBiSSH was a training ground, and Naoya honed his skills alongside his brother Takuya, who was already making waves as a member of Choutokkyuu.

In 2016, he also made his acting debut in the movie Valentine Nightmare, a small but significant first step. The following year, he appeared in The Badly-Bruised Devil, gaining more experience in front of the camera. His time with EBiSSH continued until the group's activities merged with what would become ONE N' ONLY, setting the stage for his breakthrough. [edit]

Naoya's career took a major turn when EBiSSH and another EBiDAN unit merged to form ONE N' ONLY. As the group's rapper and dancer, he found his footing in a more prominent spotlight. The group's first major tour, ONE N' LIVE 2023 ~Departure~, marked a new chapter, followed by the ONE N' SWAG 2024 ¿Fiesta? tour and the 2025 LUMINA tour, all of which showcased his stage presence.

His acting career expanded in parallel. He landed a role in High&Low: The Worst Episode.O (2019), a film in the popular High&Low franchise, which gave him exposure to a wider audience. He continued with FAKE MOTION: Tatta Hitotsu no Negai (2021), a sports drama film, and then took on more diverse roles in Shiosuke to Amami: Soba ga Dekiru Made Tantei (2022) and The Sunday Runoff (2022).

In 2023, he appeared in Battle King!!: We'll Rise Again and Saga Saga, and began lining up an impressive slate of 2025 projects, including Gokon no Akuma: Sare Tsumatachi no Kareinaru Fukushu, Toaru Love Hotel no Saijokai Nite, Mondai Bukken, Motokare Zukan, and two parts of Battle King!! Map of The Mind. His 2026 schedule includes Women Document Detectives and If Only You Weren't the One.

Beyond performing, Naoya has contributed creatively to ONE N' ONLY by designing some of the group's costumes, blending his personal fashion sense with the group's image. [edit]

Naoya is known for his sharp, trendy fashion sense, which he often showcases on Instagram. His style is a mix of streetwear and high fashion, and he has even designed costumes for ONE N' ONLY, giving the group a cohesive visual identity.

Fans appreciate his caring nature, which earned him the nickname "mother of the group." He is often seen looking after his fellow members, whether it's fixing their hair or offering words of encouragement. His social media presence is warm and engaging, with behind-the-scenes glimpses of tours and everyday moments.

On stage, he is a dynamic dancer with precise movements, a skill honed from his years of soccer and dance training. His ability to connect with the audience makes him a fan favorite at live shows. [edit]

Naoya Kusakawa has cultivated a devoted following through his dual role as the rhythmic anchor and visual designer for ONE N' ONLY. While the group's EBiDAN roots provide a strong foundation, his specific fanbase operates without a singular, officially documented moniker in English-language records. This community is defined by its appreciation for his nurturing "mother of the group" persona and his sharp aesthetic contributions, often rallying around his social media presence rather than large-scale organized campaigns or ritualistic interactions. The lack of a formal name does not diminish their loyalty; fans deeply value the intimate connection they share with Naoya, from his detailed costume designs to his supportive demeanor during live performances.

Regarding global standing, iFANN has not yet collected sufficient data to assign a specific ranking to Naoya Kusakawa at this time. Without current metrics on search volume, media coverage, or consumption signals, no placement can be established within the global hierarchy. Consequently, there are no ordinal positions to cite regarding his fame relative to other entertainers or within the hip-hop genre.
