Smith's college resume places her among the most decorated players in Baylor history. She is one of only seven Bears to reach 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds. Her Wade Trophy and two Katrina McClain Awards highlight her dominance as a power forward. In the WNBA, she made an immediate impact as a rookie and won a championship in her third season, showcasing her ability to contribute to a winning team.

AwardsSmith won the Wade Trophy as the nation's top female college basketball player in 2021. She is a two-time Katrina McClain Award winner (2021, 2022) and two-time Big 12 Player of the Year (2021, 2022). She earned All-Big 12 First Team honors three times (2020, 2021, 2022) and was a seven-time All-American as a senior. In the WNBA, she made the All-Rookie Team in 2022. She also won an NCAA championship with Baylor in 2019 and a WNBA championship with the Aces in 2025.
