My Happy Marriage

Akumi Agitogi crafted My Happy Marriage, a historical romance that blends fantasy elements with the rigid social structures of an alternate Taisho-era Japan. Originally appearing on the user site Shōsetsuka ni Narō, the story found its home with Fujimi Shobo in January 2019 under the Fujimi L Bunko imprint. Tsukiho Tsukioka provided the illustrations for this light novel series, which explores themes of abuse, healing, and the transformative power of love within a family haunted by supernatural forces. The narrative follows Miyo Saimori, a young woman who endures mistreatment from her stepmother and stepsisters before being married off to Kiyoka Kudou, a cold military commander rumored to possess dark powers. Their initial distance slowly gives way to genuine affection as Kiyoka learns to trust again while protecting Miyo from both human cruelty and spiritual threats.[edit]
