What sets Thakur apart is the range of languages on her award shelf. Very few Indian performers have won top acting prizes for both a Hindi web original and a Telugu feature, and she has done exactly that, taking the Filmfare OTT Award for Love Sonia in 2019 and then sweeping the SIIMA and Filmfare South Best Actress categories for Sita Ramam in 2022 and Hi Nanna in 2023. The television years are not forgotten either: her ITA Award for Kumkum Bhagya remains one of the clearest examples of a soap actress successfully crossing into film.
