Mr. Fanboy

The upcoming Thai drama Mr. Fanboy takes a sharp look at the cost of idolizing fame. Based on the novel by littlebbear96, the series follows Wan (Worapong Walor), a university student whose passion for photography centers on Nine (Supamongkon Wongwisut), a rising star he admires from afar. When Wan lands a minor role in a Y-series project alongside Nine, he steps into a world far grittier than the glossy images he captures. Directed by Nathawat Piyanonpong and produced by Mandee Work and DoMunDiTV, the show is set to premiere on ONE 31 on August 29, 2026.

The heart of the story lies in the clash between Wan and Third (Thanaphum Sestasittikul), Nine's sharp-tongued on-screen partner. Their immediate hostility slowly gives way to a reluctant connection, forcing Wan to question everything he thought he knew about the industry and his own desires. As filming progresses, Wan sees glimpses of Third beyond the cocky facade, and his irritation morphs into a confusing attraction. Meanwhile, the glamorous world he once worshipped reveals its ugly underside. He uncovers the cutthroat maneuvering behind casting decisions, the pressure to maintain public personas, and secrets that could tarnish Nine's pristine image.
