Sing 2

Buster Moon and his ragtag troupe of singing animals trade the small-time glory of their hometown for a shot at the big leagues in Redshore City. The goal is to launch a spectacular new production inside the Crystal Tower Theater, a venue owned by the ruthless wolf mogul Jimmy Crystal. To make this dream happen, Buster must navigate a city where connections matter more than talent and sneak past security to pitch an audacious idea: casting the reclusive rock legend Clay Calloway as the show's centerpiece. Directed by Garth Jennings, the film brings together a star-studded voice cast including Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton, and Tori Kelly. They return to bring their unique personalities to life alongside Bobby Cannavale as the intimidating Mr. Crystal. Illumination Entertainment backed this sequel with an $85 million budget, aiming to capture the same musical magic that defined the first movie. Released in late 2021, the animated comedy found its audience quickly, grossing over $408 million worldwide and earning a solid 7.8 rating from fans who enjoyed the blend of humor and heart.[edit]
