Halloween Ends

Four years after the 2018 massacre, Laurie Strode has spent her time trying to heal from decades of trauma. Jamie Lee Curtis returns as the weary survivor who finally attempts to live a quiet life in Haddonfield, but the town refuses to let go of its dark past. When a young man named Corey is accused of murdering a child he was babysitting, the community's fear ignites a new wave of violence that threatens to pull Laurie back into the nightmare she thought she escaped. David Gordon Green directs this final chapter of his trilogy, teaming up with writers John Carpenter and Danny McBride to craft a story that blends psychological horror with slasher thrills. The film features a strong supporting cast including Andi Matichak as Laurie's granddaughter Allyson, James Jude Courtney as the silent killer known as The Shape, and Rohan Campbell as the troubled teenager Corey. Produced on a $30 million budget by Blumhouse Productions and Universal Pictures, the movie grossed over $105 million worldwide upon its October 2022 release. Critics gave it a mixed reception, with a rating hovering around 6 out of 10, though fans appreciate seeing the saga conclude.[edit]
