A Bronx Tale

In the Bronx of the 1960s, young Calogero Anello finds himself torn between two powerful male influences. His father, Lorenzo, played by director Robert De Niro in his directorial debut, is a hardworking bus driver instilling values of honesty and integrity. On the other side is Sonny LoSpecchio, a charismatic local mob boss portrayed by Chazz Palminteri, who wrote the screenplay based on his own life experiences.
