Morato

Morato's record is thin on trophies, which is unsurprising for a defender who spent his early twenties as squad cover. What he has earned is a sequence of trust: a senior debut at São Paulo as a teenager, a move to the Premier League with Nottingham Forest in 2023, a first top-flight goal, and enough of a reputation that Roma negotiated for him in 2026 and West Ham moved to bring him in on loan. Brazil's under-23 setup gave him 14 caps, placing him in the wider national pool. None of that fills a trophy cabinet, but it marks a player whose clubs keep deciding he is worth a place.
