Mitski

Mitski's career is marked by critical adoration rather than trophy-case wins. She has been hailed by The Guardian as "the best young songwriter in the US" and by Iggy Pop as "probably the most advanced American songwriter that I know." Her albums consistently land on year-end best-of lists, and her song "Your Best American Girl" was named the 13th best song of the 2010s by Rolling Stone. Her ability to connect with listeners on a deeply emotional level has earned her a devoted fanbase that treats her music as a lifeline.
