Milorad Dodik

Milorad Dodik stands as one of the most significant political figures in the post-Yugoslav era. His ability to navigate the complex ethnic and political landscape of Bosnia and Herzegovina for over three decades demonstrates remarkable resilience. He founded the SNSD, which became the dominant political force in Republika Srpska, and served multiple terms as its head. His influence extends beyond borders, shaping relations between Serbia, Republika Srpska, and international bodies. Despite facing legal challenges that removed him from office, his continued leadership of the SNSD underscores his enduring power in the region.
