Miles Taylor

Taylor's achievements are rooted in public service and scholarship. He was one of the youngest Chiefs of Staff in the history of the Department of Homeland Security, overseeing 250,000 employees and a $60 billion budget. As a Harry S. Truman Scholar and Marshall Scholar, he was recognized among the nation's top emerging leaders in public service. His anonymous op-ed and subsequent book sparked one of the most significant political controversies of the Trump era, and his decision to publicly reveal himself as the author made him a central figure in debates about government accountability.
