Mike Rowe's television work has been recognized with an extraordinary streak of Emmy Awards. Dirty Jobs won the Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Reality Program every year from 2007 through 2023, a remarkable 17 consecutive wins. The show also earned him multiple Critics' Choice Television Awards, Gracie Awards, and Producers Guild of America Awards. In 2009, viewers voted it their Favorite Reality Show at the People's Choice Awards.Rowe's impact extends beyond entertainment. He was inducted into the National Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2024. He has received honorary doctorates from Towson University, the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and the University of Maryland, College Park.
