Records

Huckabee's career is marked by a rare combination of political, media, and diplomatic achievement. He is one of the few figures to have served as a governor, run for president, hosted a national TV show, and become a U.S. ambassador. His 2008 Iowa caucus win made him a serious contender. As governor, his ARKids First program became a model for children's health insurance. He has been recognized by Time and Governing magazine for his leadership.

AwardsHuckabee received the Music for Life Award from NAMM in 2007 for his commitment to music education. In 2005, Governing magazine named him a Public Official of the Year, and Time honored him as one of the five best governors in America. He also earned the AARP Impact Award and was named Man of the Year by the American Sportfishing Association.
