Michelle Williams's achievements as a solo artist are notable. Her single Say Yes spent seven weeks at No. 1 on the Hot Gospel Songs chart and won a Stellar Award. She has also earned critical acclaim for her stage work, receiving a nomination for Best Lead Female at the NAACP Theatre Awards for her role in The Color Purple.
