Michael Scofield

Michael J. Scofield was born on October 8, 1974, to Aldo Burrows and Christina Rose Scofield. He showed early signs of exceptional intelligence, earning both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Loyola University Chicago. He worked as a structural engineer at an architecture firm that had access to the blueprints of Fox River State Penitentiary. When his older brother Lincoln Burrows was framed for the murder of Terrence Steadman and sentenced to death, Michael devised a daring plan. He deliberately robbed a bank of $500,000, pled no contest, and requested to serve time at Fox River, the same prison where Lincoln was held. His goal: break his brother out. [edit]
