Mellow Rackz

Mellow Rackz (born September 4, 2001) is an American hip-hop artist working a melodic, confessional lane (HotNewHipHop). Signed to Lil Wayne's Young Money, she survived a robbery and pistol-whipping in Los Angeles in April 2022 (iHeart). Her 2025–2026 arc runs through NBA YoungBoy's orbit: the single "What You Is," a five-song EP with "FUN" featuring YoungBoy, and the June 2026 launch of 13 Degrees Media Group in partnership with Never Broke Again (The Source). In March 2025 she was investigated over a hotel altercation with her boyfriend's ex (NY Post).[edit]

Born September 4, 2001, in the United States (an alternate 2002 year circulates; 2001 is widely cited). Childhood, hometown, and family are undisclosed. Developed the melodic-introspective style outside traditional pipelines before signing with Young Money.[edit]

Early singles ("Settle Down," "Owe Me One," "Cry To Me," "Seeing Red") built the base. April 26, 2022: robbed and pistol-whipped after a date in L.A.; she spoke publicly afterward (iHeart). "Any Chick" arrived March 2024. 2025: the Nothing to Something EP, "What You Is" via the YoungBoy connection, MASA Tour association — and the March hotel-altercation investigation during Rolling Loud week (AmeyawDebrah). June 24, 2026: 13 Degrees Media Group debuted with her five-song EP and the YoungBoy-featuring "FUN" (The Source).[edit]

Raw, assertive, empowerment-pitched: struggle-to-strength lyrics over melodic production. Socials are direct and personal. The YoungBoy association and the 2025 investigation share headline space with the music.[edit]

Popularity rank: #41,348 overall, #31,103 by type (ranked 2026-10-19). She holds no placement in iFANN's Global Fame Engine Top 1,000 or any Top-100 scope list. The Young Money signing predates the 2022 robbery headlines (iHeart). The hotel incident ignited over double-booked rooms — boyfriend, Rackz, and ex in one hotel (AmeyawDebrah). Instagram exceeds 1 million followers.[edit]

Parents, siblings, and upbringing are undisclosed. No children are reported. Public narrative runs on music and relationships, not family.[edit]

NBA YoungBoy Never Broke Again — collaborator ("FUN," "What You Is"), label partner, and reported romantic partner (The Source). Lil Wayne/Young Money (signing). 13 Degrees Media Group; Hitmaker/10K Projects orbit (AllHipHop).[edit]

Publicly linked to NBA YoungBoy via collabs, label partnership, and — by July 2026 — prominent back tattoos of him. A November 2025 YoungBoy infidelity-referencing track fueled speculation about the dynamic. Status: in a relationship.[edit]

No net worth figure has been published by a credible outlet; the $1.5 million figure is unsourced. Revenue lines on record: streaming royalties, social monetization and brand deals, and shared Never Broke Again project revenue.[edit]
