Mean Girls

Cady Heron arrives at North Shore High School in Illinois after years of homeschooling in Africa, ready to navigate the treacherous social landscape of American teenagers. She quickly bonds with Janis Ian and Damian, two outcasts who introduce her to the hierarchy of high school cliques. Cady's plan to infiltrate the top group, known as The Plastics, succeeds when she wins over their leader, Regina George. The film balances sharp satire with genuine coming-of-age moments as a teenager learns that fitting in often requires losing oneself.[edit]
