Maxwell Joseph Caster grew up in Rockville Centre on Long Island, where the local culture shaped his later aesthetic. While specific details about his schooling remain private, his upbringing in the New York area provided a backdrop for his future career. Before stepping into the wrestling ring, Caster pursued interests in music and performance art. He began his professional wrestling journey in 2015, debuting on the independent circuit to hone his skills. This early period allowed him to develop the "Platinum" persona that would eventually define his mainstream success.

During these formative years, Caster worked tirelessly to bridge the gap between sports entertainment and music. He performed at various small venues, refining his ability to deliver high-energy shows that combined physical prowess with rap lyrics. This era was crucial for building a reputation as a versatile entertainer capable of engaging audiences beyond just standard wrestling matches. By the time he signed with a major promotion, he had already established himself as a unique act on the underground scene. [edit]

However, creative differences led to a split in May 2026. Following this breakup, Caster began establishing a solo path. Reports indicate his AEW contract expired in October 2026, marking the end of his tenure with the promotion. He has since moved to the independent circuit, specifically working with Wrestling Open, while rumors of a potential WWE signing continue to circulate. [edit]
