Matt Gaetz

Matt Gaetz has carved out a unique space in modern American politics as a disruptive force within the Republican Party. His successful motion to vacate the speakership of Kevin McCarthy in 2023 stands as a historic first, making him the architect of the first removal of a Speaker of the House from office. This achievement alone secures his place in political history books as a kingmaker who reshaped the dynamics of the House. His resilience in the face of multiple investigations and his continued influence post-resignation further distinguish his career trajectory.
