Marwan Rahiki is a Moroccan mixed martial artist competing in the featherweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Born in Rabat and now based in Sydney, Australia, he fights out of the Lion's Den Academy under the nickname "Freaky." As of 2026, the 24-year-old has established himself as a high-speed striker with a professional record that includes nine wins and one loss.

Rahiki transitioned from a background in kickboxing to MMA, where his aggressive style and rapid combinations have drawn significant attention from fans and analysts alike. His rise through the ranks culminated in a breakthrough 2025 season where he remained undefeated before facing a tough challenge in September 2026. [edit]

Marwan Rahiki was born on May 10, 2002, in Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. While detailed public records of his childhood are scarce, his athletic foundation was built on years of dedicated training in combat sports. Before stepping into the octagon for professional mixed martial arts bouts, Rahiki spent considerable time refining his skills as a kickboxer. This discipline provided the striking precision and speed that would later define his fighting persona.

His path to the UFC required a significant geographic shift. Rahiki moved from Morocco to Australia, settling in Sydney to train at the Lion's Den Academy. This facility is renowned for developing elite talent and offered him access to top-tier coaching that bridged the gap between amateur kickboxing and professional MMA. The move marked the beginning of his serious pursuit of a career in the sport, leading to his professional debut and eventual signing with the world's premier promotion. [edit]

Rahiki turned professional in mixed martial arts after building a formidable reputation in kickboxing circles. He quickly compiled an impressive win streak, utilizing a mix of knockouts and submissions to dominate opponents in the early stages of his career. His performance caught the eye of UFC scouts, leading to his official signing with the organization and placement in the featherweight division.

The year 2025 served as a major breakout period for the Australian-based fighter. He went undefeated during this span, posting a perfect 4-0 record inside the Octagon. Three of these victories came by way of knockout, showcasing his explosive power, while the fourth was secured via submission. This dominant run propelled him into the upper echelons of the division rankings.

In September 2026, Rahiki faced Tommy McMillen at Noche UFC 4 in Glendale, Arizona. The bout became an instant classic, widely predicted as a potential Fight of the Year candidate. Despite dropping McMillen multiple times and controlling much of the fight with superior speed, Rahiki ultimately lost via unanimous decision after surviving a chaotic late-round brawl. The intensity of the match solidified his status as a top contender despite the loss. [edit]

Rahiki is portrayed as a hungry, technically gifted striker with a "nothing to lose" attitude. His "Freaky" moniker suggests an unpredictable and wild fighting style that contrasts with more methodical fighters. On social media, particularly Instagram, he engages directly with fans by sharing fight highlights, training montages, and gym updates. His content reinforces his image as a disciplined athlete who lives and breathes the sport. [edit]

iFANN has not yet collected fame data for this person. While he does not have a formalized fan club name like some pop stars, his supporters are often referred to as "Freaky Fans" in informal MMA forums and comment sections. His fanbase is highly organized on platforms like Reddit and Twitter/X, where they campaign for his title shot following the McMillen fight. Notable fan campaigns include trending hashtags demanding a rematch or a title eliminator bout. [edit]

Despite fighting out of Sydney, Rahiki hails from Rabat, Morocco, bringing a unique cultural background to the predominantly Western-dominated UFC roster. His nickname "Freaky" reflects his unpredictable and dynamic fighting style, which often leaves opponents off-balance. Following his undefeated 2025 season, UFC media outlets dubbed him "Another Speed Runner Has Arrived," highlighting his ability to end fights quickly with explosive combinations. The pre-fight tension with Tommy McMillen escalated to the point where security had to intervene during a heated exchange at their hotel, adding a layer of drama to the event that fans still discuss.
