MARO's most significant achievement is winning Festival da Canção 2022, which led to her representing Portugal at Eurovision. Her ninth-place finish in the grand final was a strong result for Portugal and brought her international attention. While she has not accumulated a large number of formal awards, her impact is measured by the emotional connection she makes with audiences and her steady growth as an artist.
