Mark Kern

Kern's record is unusual because his standing rests on games he helped ship more than two decades ago. Diablo II and vanilla World of Warcraft are among the most influential PC games ever made, and the vanilla team-lead credit is a genuine piece of gaming history. He holds no individual trophies, no Hall of Fame induction and no magazine covers, and his later projects have not matched the early record.
