Marisa Monte

Marisa Monte is one of the most decorated artists in Brazilian music history. She has won four Latin Grammys for Best MPB Album, a feat unmatched by any other female artist in that category. Rolling Stone Brasil named her the second greatest Brazilian singer of all time. Two of her albums made the magazine's list of the 100 best Brazilian music albums. In 2012, she was inducted into the Brazilian Music Hall of Fame. She received an honorary doctorate from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in 2015 and the Key to the City of Rio de Janeiro in 2017.
