Records

Materazzi's trophy cabinet is packed with silverware from both club and country. At Inter, he was part of the historic 2010 treble-winning side — the first Italian club to achieve that feat. He holds the record for most goals by a defender in a single Serie A season (12 in 2000–01). Internationally, he played a decisive role in Italy's 2006 World Cup triumph, scoring a crucial equalizer in the final and converting his penalty in the shootout. He was inducted into Inter's Hall of Fame, cementing his legacy as one of the club's greats.

AwardsMaterazzi won five Serie A titles, four Coppa Italia, four Supercoppa Italiana, the UEFA Champions League, and the FIFA Club World Cup with Inter Milan. He also won the 2006 FIFA World Cup with Italy and the 2015 Indian Super League as player-manager of Chennaiyin FC.
