Maicon's career is defined by his role in Inter Milan's historic treble in 2010, a feat only a handful of clubs have achieved. He was named the best right-back in Serie A in 2010, and his performances in the Champions League that season were world-class. He represented Brazil 76 times, playing in two World Cups and winning the Copa América in 2004 and 2007. His goal against North Korea in the 2010 World Cup is one of the most memorable in Brazilian football history.
