Lynette Howell Taylor

Lynette Howell Taylor's career is defined by a string of critically acclaimed films rather than a shelf full of trophies. Her producing work on A Star Is Born earned her an Oscar nomination, and her stewardship of the 92nd Academy Awards brought an Emmy nomination. Her most significant honour is her election as president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 2025, making her the first British woman to lead the organization. She has been a consistent force in independent cinema, nurturing projects that balance artistic ambition with commercial viability.
