Luisa González

González holds significant political distinctions that define her legacy in Ecuador. She served as the President of the Citizen Revolution Movement from 2023 to 2026, leading the party through two consecutive presidential elections. Her ability to secure nearly half the vote in both 2023 and 2025 runoffs demonstrated her enduring support among the left-wing electorate. She is also remembered for her tenure as Secretary of Public Administration under Rafael Correa, where she helped shape key government policies.
