Luis Miguel's career is studded with historic achievements. He was the first Latin artist to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and the first to have two Spanish-language albums certified platinum in the US. His album Romance is one of the best-selling Latin albums ever. He has been honored by royalty, including Prince Felipe of Spain, and has broken sales records across Latin America. His longevity and consistent success make him a true icon of Latin music.

AwardsLuis Miguel has won five Grammy Awards and four Latin Grammy Awards throughout his career. His first Grammy came in 1985 for the duet "Me Gustas Tal Como Eres." He won Best Latin Pop Album for Aries in 1993 and ¡México Por Siempre! in 2018. He has also received three World Music Awards and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
