Luis Antonio Tagle

Luis Antonio Gokim Tagle, born June 21, 1957, in Manila, is a Filipino cardinal of the Catholic Church. Known to friends as Chito, he has served as pro-prefect of the Section for First Evangelization and New Particular Churches of the Dicastery for Evangelization since December 8, 2019. Before that, he was the 32nd archbishop of Manila (2011–2020) and bishop of Imus (2001–2011).
