Loner Life in Another World

Haruka, a high school loner, gets transported to a fantasy world with his entire class. While his classmates band together, he chooses to go solo. Armed with overpowered skills and a deadpan attitude, he carves his own path through monsters, dungeons, and the absurdities of isekai life. Shoji Goji's light novel series Loner Life in Another World began on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in October 2016, then moved to print with Overlap in January 2018. The first volume runs about 300 pages, with illustrations by Booota and Saku Enokimaru. The story plays with isekai tropes by focusing on a protagonist who actively avoids the team dynamics typical of the genre, finding humor and efficiency in solitude. A manga adaptation by Bibi launched on Comic Gardo in January 2019, and an anime adaptation by Hayabusa Film and Passione aired from October to December 2024. A second season has been announced.[edit]
