L'estasi dell'oro

L'estasi dell'oro is not a standalone album but a single track from Ennio Morricone's score for Sergio Leone's 1966 spaghetti western The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. The piece runs 3 minutes and 22 seconds and features a wordless vocal melody performed by Edda Dell'Orso, set against Morricone's orchestral arrangement of electric guitar, trumpets, and choir. It accompanies the film's climax where Tuco searches frantically for gold in a cemetery.

The track was originally released in 1966 as part of the film's soundtrack album by Capitol Records. It has since appeared on numerous compilation albums and digital remasters, including a 2008 remastered version.
