Leila Hatami

Leila Hatami stands as a titan of Iranian cinema, her accolades reflecting a career dedicated to artistic excellence rather than commercial success. She is one of the few actresses to win the Crystal Simorgh for Best Actress twice, a testament to her enduring mastery of dramatic roles. Her performance in A Separation not only brought her international fame but also helped secure the first Academy Award for an Iranian film, a historic milestone.
