Laurent Blanc is celebrated as one of the finest defenders of his generation, a key figure in France's golden era. He scored the first golden goal in World Cup history and was part of the teams that won the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000. As a manager, he won 11 trophies with PSG, including two domestic doubles, and led Bordeaux to a surprise Ligue 1 title. His leadership on and off the pitch earned him the nickname Le Président, a testament to his influence in the game.
