Records
Lauren Betts has collected an extraordinary set of honors across high school, college, and the professional level. She is one of only a handful of players to win Gatorade National Player of the Year, McDonald's All-American Game MVP, and Naismith High School Player of the Year in the same season. At UCLA, she became the program's first two-time first-team All-American and the first Bruin selected first overall in the WNBA draft. Her 24 double-doubles in the 2025-2026 season set a UCLA single-season record. Leading the Bruins to their first national championship in program history and earning the NCAA tournament Most Outstanding Player award cemented her legacy as one of the most dominant centers in college basketball.
