Last Thing You Need

Morgan Wallen steps into the digital spotlight with "Last Thing You Need," a track that bridges his country roots with the chaotic energy of Los Santos. Released on September 17, 2026, this single arrives as part of the promotional push for Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the official soundtrack accompanying Rockstar Games' highly anticipated title. The song serves as one of six advance singles, setting a tone that blends Wallen's signature storytelling with the gritty atmosphere of the game's fictional world.

The collaboration brings together a team of seasoned songwriters including John Byron, Chase McGill, Blake Pendergrass, and Ryan Vojtesak, all working under the production guidance of Joey Moi and Charlie Handsome. Their work creates a soundscape that feels both familiar to Wallen fans and perfectly tuned for the interactive experience awaiting players in Vice City. This release marks a significant moment where mainstream country music intersects with gaming culture, offering a fresh sonic identity for the franchise. [edit]
