Larry Mullen Jr. is widely regarded as one of rock's most distinctive drummers, known for his precise, martial style that became a hallmark of U2's sound. In 2016, Rolling Stone ranked him the 96th greatest drummer of all time, and Stylus Magazine placed him 21st on its list of the 50 greatest rock drummers. His contribution to U2's 22 Grammy wins is immeasurable, and his rhythmic foundation has driven the band's evolution from post-punk to global stadium rock.

AwardsMullen has won 22 Grammy Awards as a member of U2, though these are group achievements. Individually, he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from Yamaha for his contributions to drumming.
