Kyungmin

Park Kyung-min is a South Korean singer and dancer currently serving as the main vocalist, lead dancer, and youngest member of the boy group TWS. Born in October 2007, he has rapidly established himself as a central figure in the group's vocal performances and stage presence since their debut in early 2024. Known for his youthful charm and stable vocals despite his young age, Kyungmin balances the energetic demands of idol life with a reputation for maturity among his peers.

As of 2026, he continues to promote actively with TWS while maintaining a significant social media following that rivals many veteran artists. His ability to handle high-note sections and emotional ballads has earned him praise from critics, contributing to the group's identity as a rising force in K-pop. He remains a key visual and vocal asset for Pledis Entertainment's latest project. [edit]

Kyungmin spent his early years growing up in Janggi-dong, Gimpo, where he attended Gahyeon Elementary School before moving on to Gochang Middle School. While specific details about his childhood hobbies remain private, his trajectory suggests a focused dedication to performing arts from a very young age. Unlike many idols who gain exposure through survival shows or online casting calls, Kyungmin entered the industry through a rigorous internal selection process at Pledis Entertainment.

The agency identified his potential during auditions and placed him into their trainee system alongside future members of TWS. For over a year leading up to their formation, he underwent intensive training in vocals, dance, and stage presence. The group was assembled with a specific concept emphasizing "youthful energy" and "freshness," requiring members to blend seamlessly while showcasing individual talents. Kyungmin secured one of the final seven spots in the lineup, a pivotal moment that set the stage for his professional debut in January 2024. [edit]

Kyungmin officially debuted on January 22, 2024, as part of the seven-member group TWS with the release of their mini-album Sparkling Blue and the title track "Plot Twist." The group quickly gained attention for their synchronized choreography and unique concept, with Kyungmin playing a crucial role as the main vocalist handling high-note sections and emotional delivery. Their follow-up singles like "Last Bell," "Soda Soda," and "I Like You" further solidified their position as a rising force in the K-pop scene.

In 2025, the group continued their momentum with the album SUMMER BEAT! and embarked on their first world tour, showcasing Kyungmin's growth as a performer. By mid-2026, he began stepping into solo spotlight opportunities. In July 2026, he appeared in a solo cover shoot for Arena Homme Plus, highlighting his evolving fashion sense beyond just being the group's maknae. Later that year, he expanded his public presence by participating in sports culture, announcing a ceremonial first pitch at a Kiwoom Heroes home game in October 2026. These milestones mark his transition from a rookie trainee to a recognized solo personality within the industry. [edit]

Kyungmin is portrayed as a "golden maknae", talented, humble, and hardworking. Media coverage emphasizes his youthful energy balanced with professional dedication, making him a fan favorite for his genuine interactions. His content on social media is clean, positive, and focused on promoting the group and connecting with fans. He maintains a distinct visual identity that blends youthful charm with a matured style, as seen in recent magazine features. [edit]

Fans often note his love for traditional Korean dishes, particularly those served during holiday celebrations, which he shares occasionally during live streams. His favorite pastimes include watching movies and playing video games, offering a glimpse into his relaxed side when not promoting. There is no publicly confirmed romantic relationship for Kyungmin as of 2026. Given his birth year of 2007, he is approximately 19 years old. In the context of K-pop, idols typically maintain strict policies against public dating during their early career stages, especially while still in middle school or early high school. No credible sources, news outlets, or fan reports have linked Kyungmin to any partner, nor have there been any rumors substantiated by multiple outlets regarding his romantic life. His focus remains entirely on his music career and group activities with TWS. [edit]

Research by the iFANN Editorial Team puts Kyungmin's fortune at around $120,000 as of 2026. This estimate reflects the typical earnings structure for rookie K-pop idols under strict contract terms. His income primarily stems from salary sharing from TWS activities including concerts, album sales, and variety show appearances. Endorsement deals with beauty, fashion, and lifestyle brands suitable for teenagers also contribute to his financial portfolio. Given his age and the nature of rookie contracts involving debt repayment to agencies, his personal liquid assets are estimated conservatively compared to veteran stars. [edit]
